Pump tool

Pump tool

This tool, , enables you to draw a pump in the Main Window.  Pumping from a detention basin can be modelled using this object, which should go from the basin to a node, pit or another detention basin. The pump property sheet sets out the information needed.

When you select it, the arrow cursor changes to a pencil that can draw a pump link by clicking on the upstream and downstream end points. (You can enter multiple pumps without having to refer back to the menu by holding down the shift key as you click. If you enter a channel by mistake, this can be deleted).

To enter data right-click while holding the mouse pointer on any point along the link. Select Edit Data from the pop-up menu that appears to open the Pump property sheet.
