Orifice tool

Orifice tool

This tool, is used to draw multiple outlets from detention basins, even when these are subject to tailwater influences. Like the weir tool, it is only available with the Full Unsteady hydraulic model.

These objects link a detention basin to a pit or node. The link can be bent to allow more than one weir or orifice to go between the same end points.

To enter or view data for this object, right-click your mouse pointer on the sub-catchment symbol to bring up a menu from which you can select Edit Data to open the Orifice property sheet and enter data.
