Detention basin drawing tool
When you select it, the arrow cursor changes to a pencil. Right-click your mouse to place a detention basin where you wish to locate it. The detention basin symbol will appear.
To enter data, right-click the required detention basin symbol. This opens a small menu. Selecting Edit Data from this opens the Detention Basin property sheet.
Detention basins must be connected to downstream pipes, representing low-level outlets, and overflow routes, representing high-level outlets. These will contain data relevant to the basin such as pipe characteristics and overflow weir or orifice characteristics.
