Sub-Catchment drawing tool
This tool,
, is used to draw sub-catchments in the Main Window. Since it is wrong to place a sub-catchment directly over a pit, the pit will snap to the top, right hand side of the pit. It can then be moved to other sides of the pit, if desired.
You can enter several sub-catchments without having to refer back to the Toolbar or Draw menu by holding down the shift key as you click. If you enter a catchment by mistake, hold the mouse pointer on it, press the right mouse button to open a small menu. From this, select Delete to remove the sub-catchment. Alternatively, you can select the sub-catchment with the pointer, so that 'handles' appear around it. Pressing the Delete key on you keyboard will remove the sub-catchment.
You should then right-click your mouse pointer on the sub-catchment symbol to bring up a menu from which you can select Edit Data to open the Sub-Catchment property sheet and enter data.
