Pop-up (right mouse button) menus

You can open individual menus for the various system components drawn in the Main Window by clicking the right-hand mouse button while holding the pointer on the component (right-clicking). The menu appears near the component. Examples  for a pit and a detention basin are:

            

The items in the menus differ, but all include the following options:

  • the choice Edit Data opens the data entry and review window for the component,

  • Copy Shape allows you to copy the selected object and then to paste copies of it elsewhere,

  • Delete makes the component disappear.

Other options that may be present are:

  • The Reverse Direction choice, which can be used to reverse the stated direction of a pipe or channel.

  • The Long Section option, which presents a window showing a long section of components such as pipes, together with some results of analyses.

With the older peak flowrate design methods, the folllowing may appear:
  • The option View Median Hydrograph, which  works after a run has been made, and presents the median calculated hydrographs. Where multiple rainfall patterns have been used, multiple windows will be displayed.

  • The View Median Hydrograph option, which presents scrolling windows showing the ordinates of calculated hydrographs. It only works after a run has been made.

  • The View HGL Graphs option, which presents windows showing plots of calculated hydraulic grade lines. It can only be used after a rub is made.

  • The View HGL Tables option, which presents scrolling windows showing values of calculated hydraulic grade lines at pits, nodes and similar components. It can only be used after a run is made.


With the new ARR 2019 median storm design method, the following may appear:
  • The option View Hydrographs, which only works after a run has been made. It presents windows showing plots of the maximum median hydrograph. Where multiple rainfall patterns have been used, multiple windows will be displayed.

  • The View Hydrographs as Tables option, presents the medium hydrograph as a table.

  • The View Peak Flow Table option, which presents results from ensembles of storms of various durations as a table.

  • The View HGL Tables option, which presents the storm ensemble results graphically.
