Long section drawing preview

This dialog box displays a long-section plot, when selected from options in the File menu.  It can be used to modify the plot before it is saved as a DXF file for transfer to CAD and GIS programs.

The window appears as follows:


This contains detailed information, and can be enlarged by clicking on the Maximise symbol on the top, right-hand corner of the window.  


If you require more detailed information, you will need to export the data as a CAD drawing and then examine this in detail.  Pressing the Customise button opens the following dialog box that alters the characteristics of the drawing.

The changes will be shown on the preview window. When a suitable layout has been obtained, press the Save As DXF button to save the file.  The drawing can also be printed.

As well as being an export facility, the preview can also be used as a visual check on a pipe branch.
