Design drawings

Design drawings

These are drawings created to assist the construction of objects or systems, showing the full extent and details of works to be performed.
In urban stormwater drainage applications they will commonly involve:
  1. a plan view of a system of pits, pipes and channels, shown to scale in relation to features such as roads, property boundaries and buildings, and 
  2. a longitudinal section, showing the alignment of pits, pipes and the invert of open channels.
DRAINS will produce the latter type of drawing as a DXF file that can be read by CAD programs. Consult Exporting DXF Longitudinal Section Drawings for more details.
